Ashley Carpenter, DPT

Physical Therapist

Ashley Carpenter is a Pennsylvania native who moved to Charlestown in 2009. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehab Science. Prior to her physical therapy degree, Ashley received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bucknell University. While attending Bucknell, Ashley also played four years of collegiate soccer for the Bison.

As part of her DPT training, Ashley completed a yearlong residency in several outpatient orthopedic clinical settings. During this time, she received additional training in manual therapy interventions for the spine while working with patients who had acute work-related injuries. Following her schooling, Ashley worked as a PT in an orthopedic sports medicine clinic in Dallas, TX.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys running, playing soccer, and coaching soccer. Having grown up on a horse farm, Ashley has also enjoyed combining her interests in therapy and horses by volunteering with children in therapeutic riding.
